Frequently asked questions
How Do I Get to the Courts?
From Parkwoods-Donalda, head west along York Mills Road or Sheppard Avenue toward Bayview Avenue. Our facility is at 30 Elkhorn Dr, near the Bayview and Sheppard intersection. Families near Don Mills and CF Fairview Mall travel a similar route and typically arrive within 10 to 15 minutes.
What Summer Camp Formats Are Offered?
Our summer camp offers full-day and half-day options across up to 11 weeks. Daily sessions blend structured tennis drills with fitness activities and supervised off-court time. Extended care before and after hours helps Parkwoods-Donalda families manage their work schedules.
Can My Child Start at Any Skill Level?
Absolutely. We welcome complete beginners through to advanced players preparing for competitive tournaments. Coaches assess each child and place them in groups matched by age and ability. Beginners train with a 6:1 ratio while advanced juniors work in 4:1 groups, ensuring every player receives appropriate instruction and challenge.
What Does the Spring Programme Cover?
The junior spring programme is an 8-week block covering fundamental strokes, footwork, and court awareness. It prepares players for the intensity of summer camp. Families from Parkwoods-Donalda and Banbury-Don Mills use it as a strong seasonal starting point.
Are Private Lessons Offered Every Day?
Private and semi-private tennis lessons are available 7 days a week. These sessions are customised to your goals, whether you want to improve a specific stroke, build fitness, or prepare for competition. Weekend availability suits families with weekday commitments.
How Is Player Development Tracked?
Coaches evaluate players throughout every programme, providing regular feedback on technique, movement, and tactical understanding. When a player is ready to advance, they move to a more challenging group. This ongoing assessment means no one stagnates, and each player is always training at the right level for their current ability.
What Happens After Summer Camp Ends?
Our fall junior programme picks up where summer ends, running for 6 weeks with 2 to 3 sessions per week. It focuses on refining skills and building tactical awareness for the indoor season ahead. Families near Henry Farm and Parkwoods-Donalda use it to keep progress going.
What Are the Facility Highlights?
We operate on six well-maintained outdoor courts at the Bayview Village Tennis Club, near the East Don Parklands and Bayview Village Park. The facility allows multiple groups to train simultaneously, keeping sessions productive and organised. Our location near Bayview Avenue and Sheppard Avenue provides excellent accessibility.

What Our Students Say
“I’d like to share how much I enjoyed my lessons with Coach Ahmed during summer 2025. He is one of the kindest, most attentive, caring, and humorous coaches I’ve met in my tennis journey. He consistently followed well-planned lessons while remaining flexible to meet students’ individual needs. He was also very accommodating in arranging makeup lessons when we had to miss sessions during the summer. Overall, I highly recommend Ahmed to players of any level. He made my experience at Bayview Village Tennis Club far more engaging and enjoyable and I can’t wait to go back to his class this summer again.”
