JUNior fall program
Fall Tennis Training for Kids and Teens in Bayview Village, North York
Our fall junior tennis program runs for 6 weeks from early September through mid-October, giving children aged 4 to 18 in Bayview Village and North York a focused block of after-school training designed to consolidate the skills they built during summer and carry that progress into the indoor season ahead. Sessions run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on our six outdoor courts at 30 Elkhorn Dr, with beginner and intermediate players training on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and advanced juniors on Tuesday and Thursday. This programme follows the same development methodology that Director Peter Nielsen has shaped over 40 years of junior tennis coaching in Bayview Village, adapted specifically for the autumn season when outdoor court time becomes more valuable with each passing week.
Coaching ratios remain tight throughout the fall block. Beginner and intermediate groups train at 6:1 while advanced and top-performance juniors work at 4:1, ensuring every child receives direct feedback and correction during each 2-hour session. Coaches assess players at the start of the program and match them into groups by age and ability so your child always trains alongside peers at a similar level. For families who want to accelerate development in a specific area, dedicated one-on-one tennis coaching is available 7 days a week and pairs well with the structure of our fall group sessions.
The 6-week format is built around progressive skill development rather than repetition. Each week introduces new drills, tactical concepts, and match-play scenarios that build on what came before, so players finishing the fall program are measurably better than when they started. Children who trained through our summer tennis camp for juniors carry that momentum directly into fall, while newcomers with no prior experience join the beginner group and receive foundational instruction from the ground up. Families across Willowdale, Don Mills, the M2K postal area, and the Sheppard Avenue corridor find this seasonal continuity is what sets our North York youth tennis approach apart from isolated one-off lessons.
Scheduling is flexible with 1, 2, or 3 days per week available, and pricing scales with frequency so you choose the commitment level that fits your child’s goals and your family’s autumn calendar. The program is held entirely outdoors on our Bayview Village courts near the East Don Parklands, Bayview Avenue, and Bayview Station on Line 4 Sheppard. Holiday dates are accounted for with scheduled make-up sessions so no training time is lost. To find out which group, day selection, and frequency work best for your child, call 905-889-7293 or reach our coaching team through the website to discuss your child’s level and autumn availability.

Frequently asked questions
How Long Does the Fall Tennis Program Run?
The fall session is 6 weeks, running from September 7 through October 16. Each week includes 2-hour after-school sessions from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on our Bayview Village courts. Holiday dates have scheduled make-up sessions so no training time is missed during the autumn block.
Which Days Do Beginner and Advanced Groups Train?
Beginner and intermediate juniors train Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at a 6:1 ratio. Advanced and top-performance players train Tuesday and Thursday at 4:1. This split ensures every child in our North York fall tennis programme receives coaching matched to their current ability and competitive goals.
Can My Child Join Fall Without Attending Summer Camp?
Yes. The fall programme welcomes newcomers alongside summer graduates. Coaches assess each player and group them by ability. Beginners near the Willowdale neighbourhood and across North York start with foundational instruction.
How Does Fall Training Prepare Kids for Indoor Season?
Coaches use the 6 weeks to refine stroke technique, sharpen tactical thinking, and build match confidence before outdoor courts close for winter. Players completing the fall block enter indoor season with stronger fundamentals than those who stop after summer.
Can I Choose How Many Days Per Week My Child Attends?
Yes. Select 1, 2, or 3 days per week and pricing adjusts accordingly. Families near Bayview Village, Henry Farm, and across North York get control over training intensity without committing beyond what the autumn schedule allows.
What Happens on Holiday Dates During the Program?
Classes missed due to holidays have scheduled make-up dates built into the program calendar. No class September 7 is made up October 19, and no class October 12 is made up October 26. This ensures every child receives the full 6 weeks of fall tennis training they signed up for.
What Qualifications Do Fall Program Coaches Hold?
Every coach holds OTA certification. Director Peter Nielsen brings National Champion credentials and 40 years of youth coaching expertise. Families near the Don Mills area and Bayview Village choose our fall coaching for this depth of expertise.
How Does Fall Connect to Your Spring and Summer Programs?
Our seasonal structure runs spring (8 weeks), summer camp, then fall (6 weeks). Each builds on the last. Players who train across all three develop faster because coaches track progress continuously and adjust instruction accordingly.
Is a Junior Membership Required for Fall?
Yes, a junior membership covering ages 4 to 18 is required for the season. It provides access to the Bayview Village Tennis Club grounds and all seasonal programmes. Visit the current membership options page for details and availability.
